THE FILL SLOPES HAVE BEEN ADEQUATELY STABILIZED WITH ESTABLISHED VEGETATION.
5. CONSTRUCTION OF STREETS AND UTILITIES AS CONSTRUCTION ALLOWS. UTILITIES TO BE COMPLETED AND INSPECTED.
6. INSTALL INLET PROTECTION, AND OTHER MEASURES, AS SHOWN AS THE PROPOSED STORM SEWER SYSTEM IS INSTALLED.
WHEN APPLICABLE THE CONTRACTOR SHOULD MINIMIZE THE DISTURBANCE ALLOWED AT ONE TIME TO THE GREATEST EXTENT
PRACTICAL.
7. MAINTAIN AND ADJUST E&SC MEASURES AS MASS GRADING PROGRESSES TO MAINTAIN PROPER E&SC CONTROL. THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL DILIGENTLY AND CONTINUOUSLY MAINTAIN ALL EROSION CONTROL DEVICES AND STRUCTURES.
8. STABILIZE SITE AS AREAS ARE BROUGHT TO FINAL GRADE.
9. EACH SKIMMER BASIN IS TO REMAIN IN PLACE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE DURING CONSTRUCTION AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
BROUGHT TO FINISHED GRADE AND STABILIZED.
10. HOUSE CONSTRUCTION SHALL COMMENCE. CONTRACTOR TO INSTALL ANY ADDITIONAL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES FOR
THE INDIVIDUAL LOT CONSTRUCTION.
11. FINALIZE GRADING ACTIVITIES.
12. ONCE THE INSPECTOR HAS CONFIRMED THAT THE SITE IS ADEQUATELY STABILIZED, SKIMMER BASINS MAY BE REMOVED AND
THE AREAS BROUGHT TO FINISHED GRADE AND IMMEDIATELY STABILIZED.
13. SEDIMENT BASINS A, B, & C ARE TO REMAIN EROSION CONTROL MEASURES UNTIL THE CONTRIBUTING DRAINAGE AREAS HAVE
BEEN STABILIZED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL THEN CONTACT THE INSPECTOR TO DETERMINE IF THE BASINS CAN BE CONVERTED
TO THE PERMANENT STORMWATER CONTROL MEASURES. UPON APPROVAL THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONVERT THE BASINS TO
THE PERMANENT CONTROL MEASURE. REFER TO THE C9 SERIES SHEETS.
14. ALL AREAS THAT WILL GO UNWORKED FOR 14 DAYS OR MORE MUST BE STABILIZED IMMEDIATELY. STABILIZATION STANDARDS
SHOULD BE MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS.
15. ALL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE N. C. EROSION AND SEDIMENT
CONTROL PLANNING AND DESIGN MANUAL, U. S. DEPT, OF AGRICULTURE, AND THE CHARLOTTE LAND DEVELOPMENT
STANDARDS MANUAL.
EROSION CONTROL NOTES:
1. ANY GRADING BEYOND THE DENUDED LIMITS SHOWN ON THE PLAN IS A VIOLATION OF THE COUNTY EROSION CONTROL
ORDINANCE AND IS SUBJECT TO A FINE.
2. GRADING MORE THAN ONE ACRE WITHOUT AN APPROVED EROSION CONTROL PLAN IS A VIOLATION OF THE TOWN/COUNTY
EROSION CONTROL ORDINANCE AND IS SUBJECT TO A FINE.
3. ALL PERIMETER DIKES, SWALES, DITCHES, PERIMETER SLOPES AND ALL SLOPES STEEPER THAN 3 HORIZONTAL TO 1 VERTICAL
