Brad, Robert and Stephen,
I wanted to close the loop on the sites that were originally reported with losses on June 7th (Sites 3
RT, 31-T, 14, and 26) for the U-4751 Military Cutoff Extension project. I visited the project on
Wednesday, June 30. Please see attached my photos and notes. All of the losses in wetlands have
had removal to the correct elevations. At the channel site, the banks have been restored, the
sediment plume has been removed from the outlet of the pipe, more area has been matted, and
several special sediment control fence outlets have been installed. At Site 26, they were working on
the slopes. They still have not extended the riprap to the gore area between the two slopes.
The only outstanding item is the native seed mix which needs to be added to the disturbed areas at
Sites 3 LT and 3RT. They were planning to do this.
Please let me know if you have any concerns. We can plan to review these sites on the ride through
next week or at another time that is convenient.

Stephen and Brad,
I reviewed the subject project's sediment loss removal progress today with Robert Patterson,Jimmy
Zepeda, and the contractor. Site fence and wattles have been replaced at all locations where there
were losses. Overall, the removal at almost all sites reported was to the correct elevation. There
was one area at Site 3RT that was high, and that material will be removed. I wrote my notes for each
site on the photo of the site and they are compiled in the attached pdf. Please let me know if you
have questions or concerns.
If either of you would like to review the sites in person before the next agency ride through, let me
know and we can arrange to meet on site.
