The Brunswick County School’s transportation has major concerns with this bridge replacement. There are 2 buses that
take 8 trips along this route each day. The proposed detour route will increase time to and from school. Brunswick
County School’s transportation department asked that NCDOT contact them well in advance of closing the roads.
EMS say the bridge replacement will have a low impact to their response time.
