On June 24, 2021, a Pretreatment Audit Inspection (PAI) was performed by Alex Lowe of the
Division of Water Resources Winston-Salem Regional Office. Ms. Martie Groome, Ms. Alicia
Goots, Mr. Frank Skee, Mr. William Burdick, and Mr. Elijah Williams were present for the
inspection.
The purpose of this inspection was to determine the effectiveness of the City's pretreatment
program, which includes reviewing SIU permit files, POTW plant performance, SIU monitoring
data, and observing an on -site SIU inspection by POTW personnel.
No concerns, deficiencies, or violations were uncovered during this audit. It was noted that all
program documentation was in excellent order, and SIU permit files were complete and up-to-date.
The pretreatment program is considered satisfactory, and no follow-up action is needed. If you
