Dear Mr. Farris:
The Permits and Engineering Unit has completed a preliminary engineering review of the subject
application. The following items must be addressed before we can complete our review:
1) In accordance with 15A NCAC 2H .0219 (i) (2) (G) (i), a minimum vertical separation of 12
inches must be maintained where storm sewers cross the sanitary sewer. Please revise sheet 7
of your plans (storm drain crossing between sanitary sewer manholes 48 and 65) to comply
with this regulation. Please forward 3 signed and sealed copies of the revised sheet to my
attention.
2) Please provide a detail drawing for an outside drop manhole on your plans, and submit 3
signed and sealed copies of the revised page to my attention.
Refer to the subject permit application number when providing the requested information. Please
submit three (3) copies of all information to my attention at the address below. Also,
please note that failure to provide this additional information on or before November 22, 1993, will subject
your application to being returned as incomplete, in accordance with 15A NCAC 2H .0208.
