DWQ Project # 2009 -0649
Pembroke Creek [CHO04, 26 -1 -1; NSW; B]
On May 14, 2013, Anthony Scarbraugh of the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) inspected
proposed improvements to the M.G. Brown Lumber Company at the subject site located at 409
West Queen Street in Edenton, Chowan County. This project was inspected for compliance
with the General Water Quality Certification (GC) #3705 deemed issued on July 17, 2009 for the
construction of improvements to the M.G. Brown Lumber Company at the subject property
The GC approved impacts of 0.10 acres of wetlands to complete your project as described in
your application received by DWQ on June 3, 2009.
The inspection revealed that the project has not yet been completed. If your 404 or CAMA
oermit was not renewed before its expiration date, vour certification is no longer valid and you
do not have authorization to proceed with your proposed impacts. However, if you renewed
your 404 or CAMA Permit prior to the expiration, your Certification remains valid and you will be
rescheduled for an inspection at a later date. This office would like to remind you that you are
limited to the impacts proposed in your application and you must comply with all additional
conditions regarding completing the certification of completion and compliance with GC #3705.
As a reminder, if you change your project you must notify us and you may be required to send
us a new application. If the property is sold, the new owner must be given a copy of the
Certification and approval letter and is thereby responsible for complying with all conditions.
Upon completion of all work approved within the 401 WQC, and any subsequent modifications,
the applicant is required to return the enclosed certificate of completion to the 401
