Jones School WWTP NPDES Permit No. NC0045152 Alamance County Dear Mr. Fuller, On May 26, 2021, Patricia Lowery and Gary Hudson of this office, met with Matthew Smith, Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC), to perform a Compliance Evaluation Inspection at the above referenced wastewater treatment plant. This type of inspection consists of two basic parts: an in -office file review and an on -site inspection of the treatment facility. The attached EPA inspection form details the areas that were evaluated during this inspection. The inspection of the facility was satisfactory. Settleable Solids, D.O., and pH are performed for process control. *The permit became effective July 1, 2017 and expired on May 31, 2021. A permit renewal application has been submitted. *AII records were available and well maintained. *Flow is estimated using the potable water meter. *Screened material are dried and disposed of in the school's dumpster. *The effluent was very clear on the day of the inspection. The effluent is discharged into the Haw River in the Cape Fear River Basin.
