Wilmington, NC 28405 Re: Gore Street Pump Station Relocation and Flood Protection Project No. SAP-W-0036 Town of Tabor City, Columbus County, North Carolina LKC Project No.: Tabor 20.01 Dear Mr. Tharrington, RECEIVED MAY 2 6 2021 NCDEQ WILMINGTON RO Please find enclosed one original and one copy of the Fast Track Application package, a USGS project layout map, an aerial map and one check in the amount of $480 for the above referenced project. The proposed project includes the replacement and relocation of the existing Gore Street Pump Station to an adjacent site outside of the 100-year floodplain. This will be a like -for -like sized replacement (80 gpm capacity) and include a new wet well, electrical and SCADA components, new duplex above -ground pumps, and a new emergency stand-by generator. In addition, the nearby manholes located within the floodplain will be raised to 2 ft. above base flood elevation where applicable and converted to watertight where raising is not feasible and vented as required by NCDEQ.
