Mr. Davidson,

This letter is in response to your 6-8-21 letter to Bear Lake Reserve, Boto NC Properties
LLC attached.

Per your letter the 9/10/21 fecal of 470#/100 ml exceeded the daily limit and resulted in
the exceedance of the monthly average of 14#/100 ml with a 21.68#/100ml. We replaced
both the UV bulbs and sleeves.

The January we exceeded the daily limit for TSS with a 19.5 mg/L and Ammonia with a
7.96 mg/L over the daily limits of 10 mg/L and 4 mg/L, respectively. These both resulted
in monthly average exceedances. The operator continually adjusts air and wasting while
trying to maintain a healthy bug population with very seasonal flows. The exceedance
occurred late in the month without opportunity to resample to lower the monthly average.
The plant has been compliant since this event.
