Kuske, P.E. of Counsel In reference to your Notice of Inspection — Non -Compliance Status letter dated September 4, 2007, we would like to update you and provide a schedule. We have inspected the facilities with the owner and contractor's who will be doing the work. We expect the work to be completed by the end of January 2009. 4 We will update you at that time with either a final Engineer's Certification or an update of the status. You must specify files you want to review by facility name or incident number, as appropriate. The number of files that you may review at one appointment will be limited to five. 3. You may make copies of a file when the copier is not in use by the staff and if time permits. There is no charge for 25 or less copies.: cost per copy after the initial 25 is 2.5 per copy. Payment is to be made by check, money order, or cash in the administrative offices. 4. Files must be kept in the order you received them. Files may not be taken from the office. No briefcases, large totes etc. are permitted in the file review area To remove, alter, deface, mutilate, or destroy material in public files is a misdemeanor for which you can be fined up to $500.00. 5. In accordance with GS 25-3-512, a $25.00 processing fee will be charged and collected for checks on which payment has been refused. 6. The report summarizes the findings of a recent inspection of the project's stormwater controls conducted on 8/8/07 to determine compliance with Stormwater Permit Number SW8 970310 issued on 4/17/1997. The required actions that are necessary to bring this site into compliance are noted under the Comments section of the report. Please inform this Office in writing within fifteen (15) days of the specific actions that will be undertaken and the time frame that will be required to correct the deficiencies. Failure to provide the requested information, when required, may initiate enforcement action. Inspect the infiltration pond(s) for erosion, trash accumulation., grass coverage, and general conditiom of the facility. 2. eroded arm immedlately, w-seed as necessary, keep side slopes and bottom mowed, and remove trash. 3. Check any inlet pipiuug, swaleg and catch basins. Repair broken piping, reseed swales, and remove trash. 4. Insp= the bypaMlovertlow setuciuise for blockage and deterioration. Remove blockage and repair structure to originally approved design specifications. 5 _ Cheek the depth of the pond(s) every six months. If siltation has occur>ned to the point that only 75 % of the original design depth is provided, remove the excess silt to the original depth.
