This memo serves to update the status of federally protected species for the above‐referenced 
projects. 

Species: Schweinitz’s sunflower (Helianthus schweinitzii) 

Survey Date: 9/04/2019 

Survey Information: Surveyed for Schweinitz’s sunflower on 9/4/2019. Study area surveyed: 750’ 
along the roadway on each side of Bridge No. 584, 250’ from the centerline of Tabernacle Church 
Road. Survey results: Marginally suitable habitat within gas line ROW and roadside within study 
area. No specimens of targeted plants observed within study area. No known occurrences within 
1.0 mile per NCNHP records dated July 2018.  

Length of Survey: 2.5 Person Hours 

Biological Conclusion: No Effect
