Center Avenue Mooresville, NC 28115 Re: Piedmont Innovation Park Pump Station and Force Main FTA 04-16 Fast Track Application for Approval Union County, North Carolina WK Dickson # 20190559.00.CL RECENED/NCDEQ/D JUN - 9 2021 MOORESVILLEOROS REGIONAL OFFICE Enclosed is our resubmittal of a Fast -Track Application and supporting documentation for the referenced project, for the Division's review and comment. This project consists of the construction of a new wastewater pump station and force main serving a proposed industrial park development in central Union County, North Carolina. This project includes construction of a new duplex submersible wastewater pump station and approximately 11,000 linear feet of 8-inch diameter force main to transfer wastewater from the proposed Piedmont Innovation Park industrial park development to the nearest gravity wastewater collection system owned and operated by Union County Public Utilities. The pump station and force main have been sized based upon NCDEQ peak flows per area (in acres) for anticipated land uses as outlined in 15A NCAC 02T. Based thereon, as presented in the enclosed supporting documents, the system has a peak average design capacity of 723,600 gallons per day (505 gallons per minute). This system will be constructed to serve a proposed industrial park; details of the final land uses and tenants are unknown at this time. Therefore, this system establishes the overall capacity of the wastewater system but does not generate wastewater flows. Once this system is in place and operational, and industrial development occurs within the subject service area, flow tracking and acceptance will be addressed via individual applications for wastewater service directly between the site developers and Union County Public Utilities. This package has been prepared in accordance with 15A NCAC 02T and the "Fast Track Sewer System Extension Application." Therefore, included herein, is one (1) fully executed original and one (1) copy of Form FTA 04-16, a check in the amount of $480.00 for the application fee, USGS proximity Map, and Street Map.
