The new 8" gravity sewer main will extend 2,329 If with 17 new 4' dia. manholes into the subdivision. The Sewer Improvements to serve MidSouth East End will serve 48 single family homes @ 360 gpd/home for a total proposed flow of 17,280 gpd. Downstream Sewer Evaluation As shown with the attached calculations, the proposed gravity sewer inside the development and the existing gravity sewer outside the development have the capacity to serve the proposed development. Once the sewer reaches Southern Pines Outfall, it is gravity feed to the Moore County Outfall which is gravity all the way to the Moore County WWTP. Prior to issuing the Flow Acceptance Letter, Moore County did their own evaluation of the capacity of their downstream sewer and found they had adequate capacity to handle the additional flow.
