On April 25, 2013, I inspected the new construction project on NCSR 1764 (New Farm Road), TIP No.
U -5204, in Caldwell County. Construction activities include heavy grading and bridge construction.
Please ensure that all sediment and erosion control structures are maintained and seeding and mulching are
performed as required to protect State surface waters. Also, please refer to the attached inspection report for
any specific items noted during the inspections.

This was a follow up inspection to the inspection conducted on April 2, 2013.
The large sediment basin downstream of the high bridge needs to be cleaned.
Seed embankment on downstream side of bridge near MDI.
The small basin in front of the 57 stone check in the silt fence near Station 57 +00 should be cleaned.
Repair rills in cut and fill slopes. These are mainly on the east side of the project.
Continue to maintain sediment and erosion control measures.
Seed and mulch areas as required.
