Enclosed please find a copy of the Compliance Evaluation Inspection form from the inspection conducted on
October 9, 2007. The Compliance Evaluation Inspection was conducted by Mark Brantley, Environmental
Chemist, and Don Register, Environmental Consultant, of the Fayetteville Regional Office. The cooperation of Mr.
David Laurita, Facility's Maintenance Supervisor, was greatly appreciated. The facility was found to be in
Compliance with permit NC0037508. As a reminder, preservation of the Waters of the State can only be achieved
through consistent NPDES Permit compliance.
Comments
• The facility was clean and neat in appearance at the time of the,inspection.
• The new influent pump station and bar screen was in operation, however one of the pumps was down for
repair while it was still under warranty. -

Drying Beds
Comment: This facility uses drying beds and McGill composting to handle the facility's
sludge. Most of the drying beds were in use with some beds that had dry sludge while
others were recently poured. There was some sludge thatwasstockpiled and ready to
be disposed of through the county landfill.
