NCDOT proposes to replace the existing functionally deficient bridge
on SR 2635(Old Airport Rd)over Cold Water Creek with a new
bridge.The project is identified in the STIP as BP1O.R015.1 and was
formerly known as R.146. STV Engineers, Inc. is providing planning,
design, and Section 404/401 services on behalf of Division 10;a
MCDC is being prepared, a delineation of waters of the U.S. has
been completed-jurisdictional waters of the U.S. in the project area
include Cold Water Creek and an unnamed tributary to Cold Water
Creek; no wetlands were identified within the study area.
