I have submitted and attached documentation of my Pre -Filing Meeting Request as instructed, along with my completed the application. My Shoreline Stabilization request is for an existing Rip -Rap shoreline that has fallen into disrepair after many years. I purchased the property a few years ago and use it as my primary residence. I have noticed the need to reinforce the shoreline as the stones no longer provide an adequate barrier to contain erosion. As a prerequisite to applying for a Duke Energy Lake Use Permit, Lake Norman properties are required to get a permit from the State Environmental Quality department. I am requesting this permit to proceed with the local permit requirements.
