A secondary stream at Site 8 will be impacted by the project. NCDOT proposes to impact the stream with a
54" RCP.To minimize additional wetland impacts, rock plating and toe protection will be used on 2:1 fill slopes
on the RCP and fill slope along the secondary stream.This revision at Site 8 will result in an additional 116
linear feet of permanent stream impacts, 16 linear feet of temp. stream impacts,0.01 acres of perm. surface
water impacts, and 0.01 acres of mech.clearing in wetlands.The revision will also result in a reduction of 0.03
acres of permanent fill in wetlands. Depicted in attached revised permit drawing.
Additionally,the stream at Site 7 requires additional impacts for stream relocation and stream stabilization.
Riprap stabilization for the main and secondary channels will result in an additional 41 linear feet of perm.
