On behalf of our client,the US Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, Kimley-Horn is submitting the attached
Individual Section 404/401 Permit and Riparian Buffer Authorization application package and the Individual
Permit Support Document for Project P134—Perimeter Security Compliance, Slocum Road Entry Control
Facility at Marine Corps Air Station(MCAS)Cherry Point.The Project is located in Craven County, North
Carolina,and proposes to replace the existing Entry Control Facility(ECF)on Slocum Road from U.S.
Highway 70 and provide a new ECF that will serve as the main entrance and exit point into and out of MCAS
Cherry Point.
Also attached with the IP application package are the site plans and grading/drainage plans for the Project.
