Description of Collection System or Treatment Process:
The Town of Sawmills Wastewater Collection System presently has approximately 493
sewer connections, and approximately 58,396 linear feet of gravity sewer line and 13,587
feet of pressure sewer line. Presently, wastewater is treated by the City of Lenoir at the
Gunpowder Treatment Plant.
The Town of Sawmills Wastewater Collection System performance for fiscal year July,
2020 through June, 2021:
Sawmills Wastewater Collection System has had no violations or illegal discharges
during fiscal year July, 2020 through June, 2021.
This report has been made available to users or customers of the system by having copies
available at the Sawmills Town Hall, 4076 U.S. Hwy 321-A Sawmills, NC 28630. The
customers were also notified of this report by mail.
I certify under penalty of law that this report is complete and accurate to the best of my
knowledge. I further certify that this report has been made available to the users or
customers of the named system and that those users have been notified of its availability.
