The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Town of Waynesville’s
Class A Distribution Program 2020 Annual Report 6/04/2021. This inspection was conducted to verify that the
facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Non-discharge Permit No.
WQ0013116. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed
copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report".

There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required.

Inspection Summary:
Mikal Willmer, with the Asheville Regional Office, conducted a review of the Town of Waynesville's DCAR 2020 Annual
Report on June 4, 2021. This review was conducted to determine whether the program is being maintained in compliance
with Non-Discharge Permit No. WQ0013116.
The Town of Waynesville submitted a "no distribution" report for 2020. The attached cover letter with the submittal indicated
all residuals were hauled to the White Oak Landfill for disposal. The Town landfilled 531 Dry Tons of solids in 2020 due to
issues with solids handling equipment.
