Tuesday 8/5/03 = 5.6 pH (later with grabs during the day of 6.0) Wednesday 8/6/03 = 5.6 pH (later with grabs during the day of 6.0) Friday 8/8/03 = 6.6 pH A process change at Candor Hosiery has possibly led to the pH violations at the POTW, eventhough Candor hasn't exceeded their IUP pH limit (it was lower than before, and Candor was having trouble this week with their dyes not taking hold. In addition, Candor's production was at approximately one third during this week). Caustic is now being added near the influent to the POTW. 1 of 1 8/8/2003 11:08 AM
