3a. Describe the existing conditions on the site and the general land use in the vicinity of the project at the time of this
application:
The site is developed, containing institutional buildings, parking lots, roads, etc. Greens Mill Run goes through the north
end of the property. The site is bordered by a residential neighborhood to the west, 10th Street to the north, 14"i Street to
the south and bound to the east by College Hill Drive. The land in the immediate vicinity is mainly institutional facilities.

The proposed project is stabilize the stream bank where erosion has been occurring.
3e. Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used:
The project consists of installing approximately 60 LF of gabion baskets and compost socks along the stream bank
adjacent to the 10'" Street Parking lot. Some excavation will occur to achieve desired top of bank and toe of slope, to tie
back geogrid into bank, and to install gabion baskets. A small excavator and /or backhoe will be used to achieve this.
Some fill will need to be brought in to fill in the areas that have eroded. Placement of the fill will occur with a small
excavator or backhoe.
