INTENT TO ISSUE THE FOLLOWING STORMWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT
The following Municippal Se
perate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permitted entities have
applied for an NPDES MS permit renewal with minor modification to discharge
stormwater from their jurisdictional area in Rowan and Haywood Counties. Public
comment or objection to the draft permit is invited. All comments received Through
Friday, June 18, 2021 will be considered in the final determination regarding permit is-
suance and permit provisions.
City of Salisbury. Permit Number NCS000484. This MS4 discharges to Crane Creek,
Draft Branch, Grants Creek, lump and Run Branch, Town Creek, and unnamed tributa-
ries within the Yadkin Pee -Dee River Basin.
Town of Waynesville. Permit Number NCS000501. This M54 discharges Richland
Creek, Hyatt Creek, Aliens Creek, Shelton Branch, Browning Branch, Camp Branch,
Plott Creek, Eaglenest Creek, Farmer Branch, Shingle Cove Branch, Raccoon Creek, Fac-
tory Branch, and Mauney Cove Branch, and unnamed tributaries within the French
Broad River Basin.
