The purpose of the evaluation was to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Permit WQ0003271. Stacy Goff, ORC, was present during the inspection. Hestron Park WWTF is a 67,000 gpd permitted extended aeration plant with dual rotary distributor high -rate infiltration areas. The plant averages 12,000 to 15,000 gpd from the neighboring shopping center. Afile review of NDMRs since 2018 shows one violation issued for a BOD exceedance in 2018 and two violations in 2020 for BOD and Ammonia exceedances. A review of GW-59s shows all five wells have exceedances in Total Dissolved Solids which is high in the influent. MW #4 and #5 have had exceedances in nitrates and the Wilmington Regional Office continues to monitor the trends. The facility is compliant with Non -Discharge Permit WQ0003271.
