The modification is being proposed to request a flow reduction from the permitted 500 gal/machine to a 275 gal/machine. This reduction is based off the actual water consumption and cycles per day for this project based on the type of machines to be used. This project was permitted with 3 self-service laundry machines at 500 gal/machine. The owner has selected the Huebsch vended stack washer -dryer model HTEBC. The cycle time from the manufacturer is 30 min and the water consumption is 13.68 gal/cycle from the spec sheet attached. Assuming running non-stop, a 10 hr day, and 2 cycles per hour that would give the following: 10 hr / 30 min = 20 cycles / day 20 cycles/day x 13.68 gal/cycle = 275 gal/day Base on this information the total flow will decrease from 13, 625 GPD to 12,950 GPD.
