We started talking about the project a bit more and the Corps is not requiring written authorization, covering the project under a NW3 and GP56. The corresponding GC is 3883. When we looked at the triggers for written approval, the project doesn't trigger written approval as there are no impacts to streams or wetlands, only open water. It was then thorough confusing what triggered the public notice and we thought it was for two reasons; it's a federal project with federal money and I guess the docks are either larger or on the high end of what's covered under the NW /GP. So, the project does not trigger written approval from us and therefore no fee and no 5 copies. Joanne, I did let him know that you may be contacting him to get additional information if you don't have everything you need from the DCM review. I also let him know that we'd send a letter basically rescinding our on hold letter since the project does not require written authorization from us. Ohh, contact info: Mike Polios 912 - 201 -1807.
