Condenser leaks have contributed to recent freeboard issues. Leaks are being addressed through recurring inspection and repairs. Excessive rainfall has also contributed to loss of freeboard over the past
several months. A phone call was made to the office of Geoff Kegley, DEQ, on February 19, 2021 and a voicemail was left indicating that irrigation rates were being increased to help with freeboards. In addition
to irrigation, wastewater effluent is being discharged to Town of Rose Hill WWTP, as conditions permit. Following is a summary of progress made over the past month with respect to pond freeboards:
Pond 1 - Freeboard not maintained at 2 feet; fell to 19.2" on 2/20/21; recovered to 25.2" on 3/12/21,
Pond 2 - Freeboard not maintained at 2 feet; fell to 10.2" on 2/3/21; recovered to 27.6" on 3/12/21.
Pond 3 - Freeboard not maintained at 2 feet; fell to 7.2" on 2/19/21; recovered to 24.0" on 3/12121.
Pond 4 - Freeboard not maintained at 2 feet; fell to 6.0" on 2/21/21; recovered to 18.6" on 3/12/21.
