In follow up to our phone conversation today,the total impacts to the jurisdictional ditch (Ditch 1) is 0.036
acres. Additionally,the total cubic yards of fill to be placed below OHW is approximately 13 cubic yards, and the total
area excavated below OHW is 11 cubic yards. Therefore, we believe the proposed project meets conditions for
authorization under NWP 18.
Please confirm that the you concur that the project can be issued under NWP 18, and I will coordinate with NCDWR to
get the 401 WQC revised to the correct General Water Quality Certification corresponding with NWP 18, as the current
401 WQC was issued as a GC#4175 which corresponds with a GP291.
