The project involves extending (Description of Minimization of Water an existing 3.75'x3.25' stone box culvert and consolidating existing drainge systems to tie and discharge to a common outfall. The outfall, a Tributary to Town Creek, is a Quality Impacts) jurisdictional stream classified as Class 'C'waters by NCDEQ. Measures have been implemented to reduce impacts to the stream, including use of 2:1 fill slopes and maintaining existing drainage patterns. Further, bank stabilization will be used along the remaining section of stream, to restore and preserve the integrity of its banks.
