Analytical results for January 2021 showed benchmark exceedances of COD and Total phosphorus in
Outfall 004. For this permit period beginning November 2018, these results place Outfall 004 into a
Tier I designation. The permit exceedances for Outfall 004 are summarized below:

Per Tier 1 requirements, an inspection of Outfall 004 was performed. Aerators used in the
retention pond leading to Outfall 004 have been out of service and are in the process of being
repaired. The January 2021 sampling event shall serve as the first semi-annual event for the
facility, required under NPDES General Permit NCG120000.
