Thorough record keeping tracks all maintenance, cleaning, etc., that occurs within the system. The Spill Response Plan encompasses the required components such as 24-hour contact numbers, spare parts inventory, and post-overflow/spill assessment information. The response time during off -hours is to be on -site investigating within two hours of notification of the spill, and immediate dispatch during business hours. Reports regarding any spills and associated press releases/public notification are kept filed in the facility. A Capital Improvement Plan has also been developed and goes in-depth describing project areas, known deficiencies, and forecasted needs, written for the time span of 2017-2024. A sewer use ordinance is in place. Grease traps are provided at the user's expense to those operating an establishment that prepares, processes, or serves food and/or food products. These traps are to be serviced and documented at least every 60 days, and users must maintain service records for three years. In addition to a web page, educational information has been made available as brochures, broadcasted on local radio, published in the newspaper, and through customer callouts. This system has several HPLs which are inspected on a regular basis. These inspections, as well as maintenance records, are logged as work orders. Work orders are detailed and include a map of the area addressed. The mapping for this system is available in GIS format. There are 83 duplex pump stations within the system, all but 1 are equipped with SCADA. The one station not equipped with SCADA uses auto -dialer and is an O&M station. Pump stations were secured with restrictive access, had operable audio and visual alarms, and proper signage with identifiers and emergency contact numbers. Log keeping at pump stations was in good order and stations were well kept with good housekeeping.
