Ladies,
NCDOT plans on letting the subject project to contract in May, 2013. While getting the permit information
together for the contract proposal, it was discovered that the 404 permit and 401 WQC had expired with the
renewal of the Nationwide Permits in March 2012. NCDOT is requesting a reissue of the subject permits and
your prompt reply would be greatly appreciated in order to keep this project on schedule. Nothing has changed
with the design of the project and the only permit site is the relocation of 278 linear feet of roadside ditch,
which was previously permitted. The permit information is listed below.
Corps of Engineers NW14 permit was issued on June 22, 2011. Action ID No. 2011 -01145
DWQ 401 Water Quality Certification was issued on May 20; 2011. DWQ Project No. 20110424
DWQ will require a Major Permit Fee of $570.00 to renew the permit. The charge number is NCDOT TIP Project,
No. R -4416 - WBS No. 38908.1.1
