(See attached letter dated July 21, 2008 and your response to our request). The application was not finalized and the boat slips were never built. At this time the developer is ready to continue with the community and get approval to construct the 7 boat slips on a community access lot. The lease area for the seven (7) boat slips will be 0.26 acres or 11,340.71 square feet. Riverwood is an 82 lot community situated on approximately 30.247 acres with a total shoreline of 513.6 linear feet. Their will be 114.65' of shoreline preserved based on Duke Energy SW Guidelines. The conservation area will be located on Lot 16. This shoreline is classified as Future Residential Marina, supporting these 7 boat slips. The leased area is 0.20 acres or 8,914.50 square feet. Riverwood is a 61 lot community situated on approximately 30.247 acres with a total shoreline of 531.64 linear feet, 103.58 linear feet (20.2 %) of this shoreline along Lot 13 will be preserved where no pier zone will be permitted. There is also a 100' protected buffer along the shoreline. Based on Duke Energy's Shoreline Management Plan Map dated August 2006, the shoreline is classified as Future Residential Marina.
