PO Box 1877 Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948 Subject Property: Tarheel Shores Pasquotank River Basin, 030155, 30-22, SA, HQW REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION Dear Mr. Roughton: On Apri124, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated April 23, 2007 to impact 0.77 acres of isolated wetlands to construct the proposed residential subdivision on the subject property. The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected isolated wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .1300 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information in writing within thirty (30) days so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: I. Impact Justification (Avoidance and Minimization) Please provide information as to why the number of lots can not be reduced or reconfigured to avoid impacts to isolated wetlands on the property. 2. Septic System detail Please provide information about the on-site septic system that will be utilized for this project, (i.e. style, make, and size). If we do not hear from you in writting within four weeks, we will assume that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will consider the project as withdrawn. This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to isolated wetlands, waters or streams. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ.
