Attached you will find five (5) signed copies of a Pre - Construction Notification Form for
the above - referenced project and a check for $240 for the application fee. A copy of the same
has also been submitted to Thomas Brown of the US Army Corps of Engineers.
The Town of Tarboro is working with the Tarboro Association of Saltwater Sportsmen, a
local community service organization, on this project to increase usage of the Tar River for
recreational activities. This will be a joint venture to install a floating fishing dock adjacent to
the Tar River bank within Tarboro's Riverfront Park. The project by design should have
minimal environmental impact and provide safe access for recreational use of the river.

(1) buned utility pole and connected to the bank via a gangplank. NC Wildlife has donated a gangplank for this project. Platform will be for seasonal use during
migratory fishing such as shad and rock fish. Attachment to the anchor and pole will allow for removal in off seasons or to prevent damage from storms.
