A copy of the same has also been submitted to Thomas Brown of the US Army Corps of Engineers. The Town of Tarboro is working with the Tarboro Association of Saltwater Sportsmen, a local community service organization, on this project to increase usage of the Tar River for recreational activities. This will be a joint venture to install a floating fishing dock adjacent to the Tar River bank within Tarboro's Riverfront Park. The project by design should have minimal environmental impact and provide safe access for recreational use of the river. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
