Dear Ms Higgins
In accordance with Condition #14 of the 401 Water Quality Certification for the Belews
Creek Steam Station Craig Road Landfill expansion project, please find enclosed the
Certificate of Completion for the wetland and stream impacts associated with Phase 2 of
the project The wetland and stream impacts associated with Phase 2 consisted of
impacts to Streams SC8, SC9 and SC10 and Wetlands WC2, WC3, and WC4 as
described in the 404 Individual Permit Application Subsequent Certificate of
Completions will be submitted upon the completion of stream and wetland impacts
associated with ensuing phases of the project as described in the Phased Mitigation
Schedule dated February 10, 2012
All work and mitigation requirements completed within Phase II of the project was
completed in accordance with the Nationwide Permit general, regional, and special
conditions, as well as the Conditions of Certification found in DWQ's 401 Water Quality
Certification Also enclosed with this certification is a receipt from Ecosystem
Enhancement Program stating they have received payment for the required
compensatory mitigation for Phase 11 of the Craig Road Landfill expansion project
