Dear Mr. Haigh:
On February 8, 2013, the Division of Water Quality (Division) received your CAMA application
dated February 8, 2013, requesting a 401 Certification from the Division for your project. The
Division has determined that the application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The
application is on hold until the following information is received:
1. Please provide a cross - section profile showing the fill slope of your proposed project.
The profile needs to show how the material will be kept from eroding into adjacent
wetlands on the adjoining lots. The drawing should parallel the proposed
bulkhead /retaining wall alignment and located between the wetlands on either side of
the lot.
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(c), the applicant shall furnish the above requested
information for the proper consideration of the application. If all of the requested information
is not received in writing within 30 calendar days of receipt of this letter, the Division will be
unable to approve the application and it will be returned. The return of this project will
necessitate reapplication to the Division for approval, including a complete application package
and the appropriate fee.
