The Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR) has reviewed your submittal of the No
Exposure Certification for Exclusion from NPDES Stormwater Permitting form, which we received on
April 14, 2021. The Division is unable to concur with your certification of no exposure.
Based on an inspection of your facility, Raleigh Regional Office staff found that industrial activities or
materials on your site either are exposed or have the potential to be exposed.
Please see the enclosed inspection report for more details. As such, the Division cannot grant your
requested exemption from permit coverage when industrial activities or materials are exposed or have the
potential to be exposed. Please apply for coverage under an appropriate General Permit.
