Specialty Product Technologies is hereby authorized to: 1, Continue to operate an existing wastewater treatment facility with design flow of 0.17 MGD for process -contact wastewater (Outfall 001) that includes the following components: • Chromium and cyanide batch treatment tanks, • Acid -alkaline holding tank, • Clarifier, • Plate and frame press 2. Continue to operate a 0.152 MGD groundwater-remediation related wastewater treatment system including a packed tower air stripper (Outfall 003). 3. Continue to combine wastewaters from internal Outfalls 001 and 003 at a final wastewater Outfall Q04; all outfalls and facilities located at Danaher Sensors and Controls Products (2100 West Broad Street, north of Elizabethtown) in Bladen County. 4. NCG510532 Dear Sir/Madam: Attached is the March 2015 Discharge Monitoring Report for the 140 West Franklin site on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This work was conducted under NPDES Permit No. NCG510532. Discharge from site dewatering activities to outfall 001 began May 17, 2012. Flow rates were recorded and documented and were below the permitted daily maximum limits. This information is submitted as required by Part II, of Section D. (2.) of its NPDES Permit. Inlet water samples will be collected and analyzed as requested by the Town of Chapel Hill in reference to the request to the state from the property owners to rescind the NPDES permit number NCG510532 in the month of May, 2015. The analytical information will be forwarded to the Town of Chapel Hill for their approval to decommission the treatment system operation. NCG510532 Dear Sir/Madam: Attached is the January 2015 Discharge Monitoring Report for the 140 West Franklin site on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This work was conducted under NPDES Permit No. NCG510532. Discharge from site dewatering activities to outfall 001 began May 17, 2012. Water samples were collected from outfall 001 on January 28, 2015 for the quarterly sampling event as required by the permit. Samples were sent to SGS Environmental Services, Inc. of Wilmington, North Carolina for analysis. Analytical results indicate that all compounds were below the permitted daily maximum limits. Flow rates were recorded and documented and were below the permitted daily maximum limits. This information is submitted as required by Part II, of Section D. (2.) of its NPDES Permit.
