I was looking over the additional information you provided on March 22, 2021. Everything looks good except for a few small issues: Please correct the following: - Supplement-EZ Form: o Cover Page:  Lines 7 & 8 – Since there is a surface water located in or near the project area, a vegetated setback must be provided (per the plans, it has been provided, it just needs to be shown on the Supplement-EZ Form). Per 15A NCAC 02H .1017.10, the minimum required vegetated setback width is 30’ (Plans show 100’ being provided, which is fine). Line 7 should show the actual width of the vegetated setback being provided from the surface water (based on the plans it appears 100’) and Line 8 should be answered (based on the plans it appears like it will remain vegetated). (This is “my bad”, I forgot to mention this in the prior comment letter I issued (In the first comment letter, I mentioned the need to show the vegetated setback on the plans, I just forgot to mention that it needed to be included here too)). o Drainage Areas Page:  Entire Site Column, Lines 7 & 10 – The BUA values in these rows should also include the BUA that is within the drainage area to the proposed sand filter (since the BUA within the drainage area to the sand filter is part of the entire site). For example, Line 7 should include both the new BUA that is located within the drainage area to the sand filter (181,082 sf) as well as the new BUA that is located outside of the sand filter drainage area (31,102 sf), the same thing is true with the items of Line 10. Line 5 should equal the sum of Lines 7, 13, & 15. o Sand Filter Page:  Line 43 – The note, “SCM VOL PROVIDED = 74,272 CF (OVERSIZED FOR FUTURE NEEDS)” may be a little confusing. While the SCM can hold 74,272 cf of stormwater, the sand filter only provides 12,165 cf of treatment volume (Treatment volume is the volume of stormwater that can be held above the “bottom” of the sand filter and below the lowest bypass elevation, not the total amount of stormwater that can be stored in it). You may want to change the note to read “STORAGE VOL PROVIDED…” just so it is not confused with treatment volume provided. Please provide the following: - 1x hard copy and 1x electronic copy of the revised Supplement-EZ Form Hard copies should be mailed to me at the following address: 512 N. Salisbury Street 1612 Mail Service Center Raleigh, NC 27699-1612 Electronic copies should be uploaded at the following location: https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/SW_Project_Submittal 1 Since these are really minor things, once I get the hard copies, anything else that may have changed from addressing these issues, and the documents are uploaded to Laserfiche (Provided everything is still in order), we can issue the permit without doing another formal 30-45 day review (the next review will be very quick since this is such a minor thing).
