Bridge 57 over Cold Springs Creek and Harmon Den Road is a Reinforced Concrete Floor on I-Beams (3@65'1@50) and to be replaced with a Prestressed Concrete Girder Bridge (1@122' 54" PSCG/1@95' 36" PSCG). The proposed bridge is to be built in place of the existing bridge about 300' upstream of the Cold Springs Creek confluence with Pigeon River. A retaining wall is to be placed at the end bridge section. Class II rip rap is to be placed on both embankments to stabilize the stream bank after construction. In addition to the bridge replacement, wild life passages, fencing and wildlife guards are to be installed to better control wildlife movements along the I-40 corridor. All proposed outfalls are protected with Class B rip rap. 6" Deck drains are along the entire proposed bridge but do not discharge over Harmon Den Roador the waterway.N/ABuffer Rules in Effect:None28500Existing bridge is to be replaced with a Prestressed Concrete Girder Bridge (1@122' 54" PSCG/1@95' 36" PSCG) skewed at the same 76-degrees over Harmon Den Road and Cold Springs Creek.
