THIS DEED, made and entered into this the 11th day of April,
1980, by and between JOY FOX ALLRED and husband, G. H. ALLRED,
DOROTHY FOXTEAGUE (Unmarried) of Chatham County, North Carolina,
F. LEE FOX and. wife, MARTHA F. FOX, of the State of Missouri,
parties of the first part; and the TOWN OF SILER CITY, a Municipal
• Corporation, Chatham County, North Carolina, party of the second part;
W 1 T N E S S E T H
THAT said parties of the first part in consideration of TEN
DOLLARS AND OTHER GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATIONS to
them paid by the party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, have bargained and sold and by these presents do grant,
bargain, sell and convey to said party of the second part, its successors
and assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land in Matthews Township,
Chatham County, North Carolina, and more particularly described as

feet to another stake; thence South 16 degrees 30 minutes East 210 feet

dam; thence North 73 degrees 30 minutes East 743 feet to a stake in the property

North 68 degrees West 86.05 feet to an iron stake at a spring; thence on
with the Brewer line North 43 degrees 45 minutes West 125 feet to an iron

West 260.09 feet to a stake; thence North 06 degrees 30 minutes West

recorded in Deed Book KY, Page 593, Chatham County Registry; thence
South 63 degrees West 2,026 feet to a stake in the Elder line; thence South
43 degrees East with Elder's line 726 feet to a dogwood in the line of the
Siler City Filter Plant property; thence South 75 degrees East 159 feet
to the BEGINNING, and containing approximately forty (40) ACRES, more
or less.
