Authorization is hereby granted for the construction of modifications to the existing 0.995 MGD Town of Lake Lure Wastewater Treatment Plant, with discharge of treated wastewater into the Broad River in the Broad River Basin. This authorization results in no increase in design or permitted capacity and is awarded for the construction of the following specific modifications: Replacement of existing clarifier equipment; replacement of chemical transfer and feed system; rehabilitation existing flash mixer; replacement of sludge removal equipment; replacement of two 250 gpm sludge pumps and pump station; installation of a new effluent flow meter; installation of a new flow -paced refrigerated composite sampler, pursuant to the application received on September 18, 2006 i and in conformity with the project plan, specifications, and other supporting data subsequently filed and approved by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. This Authorization to Construct is issued in accordance with Part III, Paragraph A of NPDES Permit No. NC0025381 issued April 1, 2004, and shall be subject to revocation unless • the wastewater treatment facilities are constructed in accordance with the conditions and limitations specified in Permit No. NC0025381.
