Permit No. NC0026921 Parkton WWTP Robeson County Findings of Ammonia: During this month of the exceeded limit. We had 12.5" of rainfall the month before. With that amount of rain, the water table is higher than normal and with the towns I & I problems we believe that the bugs had been washed out due to the lager amount of flow going thru the plant in July. The Ammonia had start going up the last week in July. After noticing the spike we start watching the Ammonia level closer and collecting extra samples. I would like to add The Town has received a Principal Forgiveness Loan 50 / 50 match. I know the Town is in fault of the exceeded but this will be another hardship if we have to pay for this. We will be meeting with the engineer to review plans so we can send them to the State for their approval. We have already started receiving bills from the engineer firm for payment which is in the dollar amount of $13,500 along with 5 extra samples at the Lab in the amount of $100.00.
