Re: ABB Motors and Mechanical (Formerly Baldor Electric)
General Permit No. NCG030070
Please find enclosed the DMR for April 2021. We were unable collect samples
during a measurable rain event in April.
We currently remain in Tier III status at conveyance point B.
No significant process sources of zinc have been identified at our facility. We
continue to believe that the major contributors are infrastructure sources. Run off
from metal roofing is the primary culprit for outfall B. We are maintaining cleaning
activities for outside storage areas to minimize the impact that forklift and delivery
truck travel have on stormwater runoff.
Please contact me with operational or compliance issues.
Sincer ly,
vL
