Project Name: Lot 12, 2563 Mint Julip Road, Creedmoor (Southerby's S/D)
On June 5, 2007, the 401 Oversight/Express Permitting Unit of the Division of Water Quality received your
request regarding a project known as "Lot 12, Southerby's Subdivision" for acceptance into the Express Review
Program. This letter advises you that your project will be accepted into the Express Review Program once the
following items are received:
1. The application fee of $1,000.00 [for Neuse Riparian Buffer Minor Variance], made payable to the North
Carolina Division of Water Quality];
Three (3) complete and collated copies of the Minor Variance Request Form, Version 2; and
Three (3) complete and collated copies of the proposed riparian buffer restoration plan.
Please note that a Minor Variance can only be granted for Zone 2 protected buffer impacts and it must be
determined that you have no practical alternatives. Zone 1 impacts require a Major Variance granted only from
the NC Environmental Management Commission and cannot be process through the Express Review Program.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please keep in mind that the clock for this project will not start until
receipt of the completed application package and required fee are received. If the impacts are greater than
indicated on the initial interest form and/or the services are different, you may be required to remit an additional
