TIP project SF-400584 involves the replacement of the existing NCDOT
Bridge#400584 on SR 3412(Tabernacle Church Road)over Big
Alamance Creek at Guilford County. Bridge#400584 consists of 3 @ 30'
precast prestressed concrete channels with end bents made of PPC cap
and timber piles and interior bents made of PPC cap and steel piles.The
existing bridge is structurally deficient and in need of replacement.
Therefore, NCDOT proposes to construct a new bridge within it's existing
footprint.
