This project involves the replacement of the existing NCDOT Bridge#239
on SR 1998 over Wolf Island Creek. Bridge#239 consists of 4@13'9.5"
RC rigid frame and mass concrete abutments and interior bents.The
proposed bridge consists of 1 @70'24"cored slab with 4'-0"caps.The
proposed crossing is located in Zone AE of FIRM Map number
3710799500J and was studied by Detailed methods(Pre-preliminary).A
stormwater outfall is roposed at the northwest corner of the proposed
bridge and a Rip Rap pad will be utilized to dissipate the energy. No deck
drains are required for the proposed bridge.
