Dan,
The internal clock on the PLC needs to be adjusted from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight. Mr. Crouch
advises that everything that is supposed to reset at midnight is resetting at noon. Mr. Crouch advises that
this is a programming function and we are hoping that the next time you are in the area you could help us
with this adjustment. As always, your continued assistance and support are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chuck @ McCain, 3700

Re: NC 0035904 Effluent Meter Troubles
This is followup to the message I left on 2-17-04 concerning effluent flow meter
difficulties at the plant. Sigma 980 unit was discovered with a "Loss of Echo" message
on the morning of the.17t. After trying the trouble shooting fixes from the manual, I
called the tech section of the manufacturer and a new sensor was suggested. I filled out
the necessary procurement forms and up the chain it went... I will keep you posted.

Re: X 0035904 — January '04 Noncompliance
•
January 14th our effluent violated, the Daily Max. of 400/100 ml for F.Coliform. We
have ultraviolet disinfection: We have historically gotten 12000 hours from a set of UV
bulbs. These bulbs were at 7800 when the noncompliance occurred. I. replaced three
bulbs on 1/27/04 and two more on 2/2/04, exhausting my supply on hand. More were
ordered and the balance of the bulbs were changed 3/9/04* Noncompliance ceased after
the changeouts of 1/27 and 2/2.
My number is 910-944-2351 •should you need more info.
